The reader is invited to workbooks by Franz Kafka, which, in addition to diary entries, contain excerpts from planned stories, “flying notes”, aphorisms, fantastic scenes snatched from the darkness by an internal flash, as well as the play “The Crypt Watchman”. These recordings provide a unique opportunity to look into the world of a great writer, catching him in the process of formation, and eavesdrop on an endless internal monologue. Kafka's artistic world is dreamlike, unsteady, captivates the reader, draws him into a recognizable and unrecognizable space, awakens and extremely intensifies sensations that were previously hidden somewhere in the depths of his hidden self. And this is important, because Borges once said: “Kafka still gives us the code of our time.”
