This publication is based on a course of lectures given over a number of years by one of the authors at the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University. It sets out the physical foundations and mathematical apparatus of non-relativistic quantum mechanics. Much attention in the book is paid to computational methods, especially approximate ones. In addition to a large number of examples in the text, the book includes over 200 problems intended for independent solution. The book is a textbook on quantum mechanics for students of university physics departments.
