A brilliant, ironic parody of modern art, which combines a light detective story, a romantic love story, and an eccentric philosophical parable about beauty, freedom and moral and ethical standards in creativity. Considering himself ugly, and therefore unhappy, a young man decides to commit suicide life by suicide. But at the decisive moment, he meets an artist suffering from delusions of grandeur on his way. He invites the young man to buy his body and soul in order to make him into a living sculpture, which will bring them both worldwide fame. The desperate man agrees to the deal and, as a result of a surgical operation, appears before the public in the form of a naked sculpture under the name Adam bis. But can he exist in this form, throwing away his humanity? Having fallen in love with a young girl, the “work of art” tries to escape from the clutches of its creator and find its lost self.
