“I believe that not all of those who read this collection of short stories know for certain what the word “interception” meant in relation to literature. I’ll tell you briefly about this case. Interception is a profession that originated in the mid-sixties and is directly related to literature. The interceptor occupied a workplace near the Old Book store and spent his working day there, carefully ensuring that books with market value never reached the counter. The profession had hundreds of subtleties that allowed an experienced interceptor to promote illegal sales books by the most distrustful citizen, who hates the damned speculators of the devoted builder of communism. The intercepted books were then resold at book pushes, also known as black markets, exchanged at book exchanges, or simply placed on the shelf.
