But Dina’s half-brother Chuck catches them in the act of the “crime” and threatens to tell their parents everything if the girls don’t take him to the game. Chuck calls strangers, scaring them. It's dangerous and exciting. They even enjoy the newspaper hype and rumors surrounding their antics. Until Chuck dials a random number at a house on Fear Street. To his horror, Chuck realizes that the jokes are over - there is a murder going on in the house. The killer knows them by sight, knows where they live - and they have nowhere to wait for help.
