Marina is a student in the linguistic class of the gymnasium. She lives with her mother and grandmother. The land snail Achatina lives in an aquarium; she is Marinin’s only friend. Marina feels uncomfortable at school and comes to the handball section. She begins to offend younger girls and gradually finds friends her own age. In the summer of 2010, smog begins, handball teams go to camp. Marina earns authority for herself in the camp and hopes for love. But in a small ecologically clean town, it was also possible. The haze and heat are oppressive and completely exhaust the nervous system. Passions and serious ambitions overcome Marina, this leads to big troubles.
