In December 1967, four children were left completely alone in their room on the Fontanka embankment. Behind them was a destroyed family, ahead of them was life. They grew up, loved, understood other people, they had their own families, children, grandchildren. Gradually, everyone came to their happiness: single and married, rich and poor, healthy and sick. And then they met again, in the same room, also in December, 50 years later.
