This is my first book, which was published in 2000 in the city of Khabarovsk. The book was conceived as the beginning of a cycle of several stories. However, only now I decided to return to its creation. The introductory article for Adventures in the New World was written by the journalist of the newspaper "Young Far East" Yuri Dmitrievich Shmakov. You can read it in the text of the book. Now, over time, I, of course, agree with the words of Yuri Dmirievich that the story “did not make a difference in Russian science fiction.” However, I also join his wish for the readers to get acquainted with it and hope that they will enjoy the light adventures that came into the mind of the young man. And it will become a prologue to more interesting books, which will not be entirely easy to understand without it.
