1958 A humble clerk from the Central Information Office, Thomas Foley, is sent to Brussels. His mission is complex and at the same time honorable: organizing the Britannia pub at the International Exhibition in Brussels, designed to demonstrate civilized relations between European countries that survived the horrors of World War II. But the fact of the matter is that civilized relations are just a screen; the Cold War is in full swing. And soon Thomas will understand what it’s like to be a pawn in this war.
