Vasily Vasilievich Ershov is a professional civil aviation pilot, Tu-154 instructor pilot. 35 years of flight experience, 19,300 flight hours. After leaving his flying job in 2002, he worked for 6 years at Sibaviatrans airline. Retired since 2008. In 2003-2007. Vasily Ershov wrote the trilogy “Sled Dog of Heaven” (“Thoughts, Stories and Revelations of a Sled Dog”), in which he revealed the pilot’s vision of the world through the cockpit window, knowledge of himself through knowledge of the machine, described in detail the “kitchen” of flight work and the life of a Russian pilot in period from 1967 to 2002. The trilogy was published at the expense of sponsors, then by the Eksmo publishing house (under the commercial names “Airport 2008”, “Aeromania”, “Airplane Fall”); Also, the Eksmo publishing house published a book for passengers, Aerophobia. The basis for writing the books was the flight diaries that the author kept for 18 years.
