Without a world war, without nuclear ash, our civilization simply died peacefully, having outlived its usefulness. After it, only the spin-off Hexagon reservation remained, in which half a billion descendants of those people who survived the global collapse live. They have created for themselves a highly urbanized closed zone, surrounded by a giant Wall, within which they quietly exist so as not to interfere with the planet’s recovery from the destructive influence exerted by their ancestors. However, the day comes when young machine control operator Artur Gromov gets a chance to get out of the reservation into the wild world. Outside the Wall, many unexpected discoveries and incredible adventures, fraught with considerable danger, will surely await him. But will he dare to take such a risky step?
