“The Map of Tulsa” is compared to “The Catcher in the Rye” by J. Salinger and “Love Story” by E. Segal. The main character of the novel, Jim Praley, naive, passionate, takes his first steps in adulthood. He wants to understand others and himself, understand how the world works, and learn to make decisions. “The Map of Tulsa” is an attempt to evoke that sharp, aching happiness that is only possible in youth. Lital remembers very well what he felt in his twenties, so he managed to write an honest and sincere book, after reading which everyone can say: “This is about me."
