According to the latest data from VTsIOM, 13% of Russians want to move to Germany for permanent residence. This is 3% more than in the USA. But getting a residence permit in the country is not everything. You still have to become one of the strangers. In 2004, Natalya Wolf and her son moved to Germany to join her husband. For eight years now, she has been living a full life in the western city of Essen, a major industrial, commercial and financial center of the country. During this time, she managed to do a lot: get a second education at a sports institute in Düsseldorf, get a job as a sports coach in nutrition and Nordic walking, write and publish a book in German “Naturkosmetik”.
