The book is devoted to the practical application of symbolic calculations for solving differential equations and their systems using the symbolic calculation library SymPy of the Python programming language. Each chapter of the book examines one applied model from the field of physics, chemistry, biology, etc. After a theoretical derivation of the differential equations arising in the model, the process of formalizing the model and solving the corresponding differential equations using the SymPy library is described in as much detail as possible. Particular attention is paid to the analysis and visualization of the solutions found using the Matplotlib library. The presentation of the material is accompanied by a large number of illustrations and exercises.
