An action-packed military adventure story tells about the events of the autumn-winter of 1942 on the Far Eastern border, the struggle of Soviet border guards with Japanese intelligence. Since the author in his work widely uses words from local dialects, names of household items and places that are contemporary to the events described are now outdated or out of use, the compiler of the fb2 document considered it necessary to accompany the source text with a large number of comments. It should be noted that this work is not a documentary narrative, although the text contains real names of geographical objects and historical figures and events, they are used in an artistic manner . As, for example, the really existing, oldest in the Far East, outpost “Turiy Rog” (in 2002 the outpost was named after Colonel General Pavel Ivanovich Zyryanov (1907–1992)) is described in some detail, but geographically placed by the author at a certain conventional point on the border...
