The book by Tatyana Shorokhova, a member of the Union of Writers of Russia, “The Companion War” is dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War through its perception by the generation of people born after the Great Victory. The collection presents memoirs, autobiographical notes, and works of art by the author, which reflect the basis unity of our society - continuity of generations in high patriotic feelings. Along with stories about certain episodes of the war according to the recollections of its participants, the book includes: a miniature play for children “The Real Russian Bear”, a cycle of poems “If it weren’t for the Victory, we would not have been born ...”, the article “At what age should we begin to educate defenders of the Fatherland?”, which examines the experience of folk pedagogy in cultivating the Russian spirit. Over the last year of our national history, we have become convinced that the war, which began on June 22, 1941, is not over yet. The publication is intended for a wide range of readers.
