In the fourth book of the series about Super Agent 007, James Bond manages to demonstrate the skill of a horse race gambler, stop diamond smuggling and destroy the Spang gang. The English government is investigating large-scale thefts of diamonds from mines located in the British colonies. The smuggling chain begins in Sierra Leone, then the diamonds end up in London and then go overseas to the United States. American gangsters are running it all. Since we are talking about work outside the UK, MI6 is involved in the investigation. Given the complexity of the task, MI6 is betting on 007. James Bond must, under the guise of a courier, go to the end of the diamond smuggling chain.
