"Three Hearts" is a model of an adventure novel and a gem of the creative work of the American classic Jack London (1876-1916), whose life resembled a great adventure. In the preface, the author explains that the lack of interesting and sharp plots for the cinema prompted him to write this work. So the novel is "made" in the best traditions of Hollywood cinema (it was written on the basis of a film script): hot South America, a love triangle, passion, adventure, revenge, betrayal, the pursuit of wealth and rivalry - fair and not so. Francis Morgan - the only heir to a lot of money and a distant descendant of the pirate Henry Morgan - lives in New York, plays on the stock market, is bored after the death of his father. And he wants something like that! By chance, a guest comes to him - Señor Alvarez Torres, who knows where the treasures of his distant pirate ancestor are hidden. Adventures begin! Francis goes to South America, where he meets the beautiful Leoncia Solano, his distant relative, the weatherman, whom he dug up - Henry Morgan. And then they went and went: jealousy, prison, court, treasure hunts, etc.The work also depicts tragic conflicts: the merciless destruction of Indian culture by the so-called "civilizers", the theft of natural resources, the inhuman nature of a world where the battle for a million is raging.
