This book is a treasure trove of thoughts and precise, unexpected conclusions about the state of the modern world. Efimov is a Russian writer living in America. You need to know this surname just like the surnames Pasternak, Bunin, Nabokov. After all, this is a very Russian book... And Kiper (keeper) is a typically Russian character, despite all his Americanization.
