It is the gloomy autumn of 1307 in medieval Europe. Clouds of a terrible conspiracy are gathering over the military-monastic order of the “Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon,” led by the French king Philip the Fair. Grand Master Jacques de Molay, who had a vision of the tragic events to come, instructs four selected brother knights to remove from the Temple some of the treasures that belonged to the order. In addition, he dedicates them to the guardians of the main relic of the Templars, taken to France from the Holy Land by the first crusaders. To fulfill the last will of the Grand Master, the brother knights and a small detachment of Temple warriors set out on a long journey. However, overcoming it is not at all easy: the hunting season for the Templars is open throughout Europe, and besides, the ancient bloody god, who has awakened from oblivion, is also not averse to regaining his long-lost source of control over the elements. The choice is always difficult, but for the brother knights it is unambiguous - they always choose the side of honor and light

Author's notes: This novel has an unusual fate. The idea to write it was born spontaneously, and the storyline was inspired to me literally in a matter of minutes. I didn’t harbor the idea, but the idea insistently asked to be embodied in a book. Moreover, the mysticism present in the book was in some strange way reflected in reality. All this is strange, but it’s true. This book is real historical facts, dates and places of action, the author’s version of an investigation into a historical mystery, the Knights Templar, politicians, kings, Popes, rogues and adventurers combined. Yes, there are demons in this book, a lot of them. Among them there are demons created by my wild (but kind) imagination and born of peoples who have sunk into oblivion; political intrigues, human envy and malice. All this is mixed and connected into a fairly simple plot, where everyone has their own truth and everyone has their own reason.
