In 2020, astrophysicist Bartov accidentally discovers a mysterious and dangerous phenomenon that could destroy humanity. With time running out, he rings all the bells. However, both the authorities and the scientific community perceive the scientist as just another urban madman. A series of mystical events leads Bartov to the Volga steppes, where he has a unique chance to reverse the course of events predetermined by circumstances. Is humanity able to withstand a threat on a galactic scale and, putting aside contradictions, survive, or will the whole world sink into oblivion?
