From early childhood, I was simply fascinated by the observed cases of curing various diseases with folk remedies, while official medicine was practically powerless. I became seriously interested in medicines from the age of ten, when in the regional library I came across the books “In the Footsteps of Robinson”, and by some miracle the medical book “Our Medicinal Plants”, published by the Gorky printing house, appeared in the Yaroslavl region. Since then, I have been my own doctor, treating my mother, relatives and friends as best I could. Yes, I noticed something myself, experienced the medicinal properties of plants, sometimes even at the risk of my life. I learned a lot.
