In my story “Temptation” - a branch of the plot of “Edge of Infinity” - we are faced with an ancient harmful idea, with the eternal temptation of the thought that fulfills desires. The dolphins come to the conclusion that science and art can be combined. We can combine honesty with extravagant self-expression. We are not limited beings. But to this day, great harm has been done by those who believe that coercion is the main thing. © David Brin
