“The Five Find-Outers” is a series of 15 books by the English writer Enid Blyton. Books in this series were published from 1943 to 1961. Five children spend their holidays in a small town called Peterswood. Every time they arrive, a crime occurs in Peterswood, which the young detectives investigate, certainly ahead of the city constable, Mr. Goon.

There was a fire in the small English town of Peterswood: Mr. Hick's cottage burned down. Five teenagers, having created a detective club, undertake to uncover the cause of this incident. The owner of the cottage himself is included in the list of suspects.
