The life of a once energetic, independent woman with a rebellious streak changed overnight after the tragic events of 12 years ago. In an attempt to drown out her grief, every morning, regardless of the season and weather, she swims in the outdoor pool and, in the company of a wolfhound, visits the graves in the old Victorian cemetery. She almost does not realize that her life has practically stopped...But one day Masha (as her friend named her in honor of one of the heroines of Chekhov’s “The Seagull”) meets a mysterious eccentric elderly lady Sally, who makes friends with crows and sings with the wind. Sally opens up a world of new opportunities for Masha: interesting acquaintances, prospects and even a hint of a new relationship. For the first time in many years, she has a chance to start her life anew. But as soon as Masha dares to imagine the future, her past immediately reminds itself.
