Sixteen-year-old Vic Benucci is always in the spotlight. He has an extremely rare disease: Moebius syndrome, in which facial expressions are completely absent. Two years ago, the boy’s father died, and Vic still can’t get over the loss. When her mother's boyfriend proposes to her, Vic runs away from home, taking with him an urn containing his father's ashes. In it he finds a letter written by his father, full of mysterious messages that Vic must unravel in order to fulfill his last wish.
