"Two Noblemen of Verona" is a comedy by the great English playwright William Shakespeare, which tells about the life adventures of two young men from Verona - Valentine and Proteus. When Valentine leaves for Milan in hopes of fame and love, Proteus stays behind in Verona, but soon follows him. However, the passion for the mysterious Sylvia splits the old friendship between the friends. This play, filled with intrigue, betrayal and wrong choices, gives the audience a deep philosophical reflection on friendship, love and loyalty. "Two Noblemen of Verona" is considered one of the first works of Shakespeare, in which there is a masterful exposition of the relationships between the characters.
