"The Broken Forge" is a comedy-farce by the German writer Heinrich von Kleist, in which conventions and contradictions are subtly combined with deep psychological insight. The main conflict begins when the quality judge Adam damaged his own performance, and the human hunter Ruprecht decided to acquit the judge so as not to embarrass him in front of people. Judge Walter, played by Irina, does not want to agree to compromises, which leads to many comical situations. In search of truth and justice, Kleist reveals the flaws and mistakes of human nature with the help of deep humor. "Broken Forge" is a funny and at the same time wise play, which leaves room for reflection on the nature of truth and lies, beauty and ugliness, morality and immorality.
