"L'Anti-Justine; ou, Les Delices de l'amour" is a novel written by the French writer Restif de la Breton. In the work, the author tells the story of the slave Justyna, who tries to escape from the cruelty of her master and gets into various sexual adventures.
Restif de la Bretonne is a great representative of the Age of Enlightenment, in which the principles of freedom and equality were declared. In his works, he openly ridiculed social inequalities and gender stereotypes of his time. "L'Anti-Justine" acts as a kind of counterproposal to the Marquis de Sade's famous novel "Justine, or Redemption of Honor". In this work, Restif de la Bretonne uses satire and criticism to show fundamentally different views on sexual morality and human relationships.
The book "L'Anti-Justine; ou, Les Delices de l'amour" is not only sensational in its time, but also remains quite provocative and relevant to this day, because it raises questions of power, sexual frankness and morality in society.
