The book "The Nobleman's Book" (Italian: "Il Cortegiano"), written by the Italian writer Baldassare Castiglione, is one of the most important works of Renaissance literature. Published in 1528, it is considered a classic of literature on the etiquette and behavior of aristocratic society. In his book, the author recreated a discussion between the nobles at Willius in Mantua, where they discuss the ideals that should guide the nobility in the palaces of Renaissance Italy.
