The book "Eidyls" (Ειδύλλια) is a work of the ancient Greek poet Theocritus, which is a collection of pastoral poems. These idylls combine the art of poetic words and the theme of provincial life, dedicated to a simplified, authentic, idyllic picture of rural life. The poet successfully conveys the warm atmosphere of village evenings, the sounds of nature, designed to capture the reader and elevate him to a world of peace and harmony with nature.
