Laymon's Tomb is an English epic poem composed by the English poet Laymon around 1200. The book is an adaptation of the medieval French novel Romain ten Brut and tells the legendary story of King Arthur, his Knights of the Round Table and the origins of Britain. He combined Celtic and Anglo-Saxon legends in his epic "Lemon's Burial", creating one of the earliest English poetic works. This book is an important testament to the English language and literature of the Middle Ages.
