Дебютний роман Сьюзен Стокс-Чепмен "Пандора" вражає своєю оригінальністю та глибиною. Авторка майстерно поєднує історичний контекст Лондона 1799 року з елементами грецької міфології, створюючи захоплюючу атмосферу, в якій читач може поринути в світ мистецтва, таємниць і інтриг. Головна героїня Дора Блейк, художниця-ювелір, є дуже симпатичним персонажем, з яким легко співпереживати. Її боротьба за відновлення родинного магазину та пошук істини про загадкову вазу піфос захоплюють з перших сторінок. Книга сповнена несподіваних поворотів сюжету, що тримають в напрузі до самого кінця. Хоча переклад не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватись чудовою історією.
