Історія про героїв, які борються за відновлення своїх прав та доброго імені, вражає своєю актуальністю і сьогодні. Якість перекладу, хоча й має деякі недоліки, не заважає загальному сприйняттю твору, а навпаки, додає йому певного шарму. Історичний нарис А. Глазера про Савонаролу також вражає глибиною аналізу та емоційною напругою. Ця книга стане чудовим доповненням до бібліотеки кожного, хто цікавиться історією та культурою Європи.
