Ця книга вражає своєю оригінальністю та непередбачуваністю. Автор створив унікальний світ, де люди та фроги співіснують, і це надає сюжету особливого шарму. Едуар Монтескріпт, як головний герой, є не лише талановитим детективом, але й глибоким персонажем, що викликає симпатію. Сюжет наповнений інтригами, несподіваними поворотами та справжньою напругою, що тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Вбивства сплячих фрогів створюють атмосферу тривоги та загадки, а детективні розслідування Монтескріпта змушують задуматися про моральні аспекти жорстокості. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, книга все ж варта уваги, і я б рекомендував її всім любителям детективів та фантастики!
