Childhood is a time when something magical appears in everyone's life. Some have a talking bicycle, some have an abandoned giant village, some have a girlfriend, a very, very tall girl who bakes the most delicious cookies. So Sevka, the main character of Nina Dashevskaya’s story “Willy,” has all this. He, like all children, dreams of true friendship, believes in miracles, and they will definitely happen to him. That is, of course, not only miracles happen to him, but Sevka never loses heart. He is sure: in the end, magic always prevails over any troubles! In the story “Willy,” at first glance, there is a lot of incredible things, but in fact everything is like in life. After all, this is a story about a very ordinary boy, for whom you worry and rejoice as for your best friend. Nina Dashevskaya is a musician and writer. She plays the violin in the orchestra of the Children's Musical Theater named after. N.I. Sats, and her books managed to become favorites in many families. Nina Dashevskaya twice became a laureate of the All-Russian competition for the best literary work for children and youth “Kniguru” - for the story “The Violin of an Unknown Master” (2013) and the collection of stories “About Music” (2014). In 2014, the story “Willy” won the V. Krapivin Prize.
