Книга "Маннергейм" професора Леоніда Васильовича Власова є вражаючим дослідженням, яке відкриває нові грані особистості Карла Густава Маннергейма. Автор вдало поєднує історичні факти з аналітичним підходом, що дозволяє читачеві зрозуміти складність його ролі в історії Фінляндії та Росії. Особливо вражає, як Власов спростовує стереотипи про Маннергейма як про лиходія, показуючи його як патріота, який служив Російській імперії та залишив значний слід у її військовій історії. Книга наповнена документальними свідченнями, що робить її не лише цікавою, але й пізнавальною.
