Erasmus Crowl, Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus, faithfully and tirelessly serves in the unimaginably terrible city that occupies the entire surface of Terra, for even the Throne World is not protected from the machinations of the insidious enemies of humanity. While fulfilling his duties, Crowl becomes embroiled in a mysterious conspiracy, the threads of which stretch into the Imperial Palace itself. "Прогнилий Трон" - це захоплююча і напружена історія, яка занурює читача у світ, де кожен крок може стати фатальним. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу страху та напруги, де інквізитор Еразм Кроул, разом зі своїм аколітом Спінозою, стикається з численними небезпеками та змовами, які загрожують не лише їхньому життю, а й цілій Імперії. Сюжет розвивається динамічно, з безліччю несподіваних поворотів, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Глибокі персонажі, зокрема Кроул, викликають симпатію і співпереживання, а їхні моральні дилеми змушують задуматися про ціну служіння та вірності. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім шанувальникам темної фантастики та тих, хто любить складні сюжети з елементами детективу. Вона не лише розважає, але й змушує замислитися про глибші питання людської природи
