The next volume in the series "Documents of Soviet History" contains documents on the relationship between the center and the Central Committee of the Communist Parties of the Union Republics; leaders of regional committees, regional committees during the period of late Stalinism. Among them are the resolutions of the Politburo and the Organizing Bureau. Secretariat of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks on control over the activities of regional party committees, on the procedure for appointing personnel (the “nomenclature” system), their training, supplies, etc. Materials from various checks and inspections indicate the situation on the ground and the activities of party leaders.
