The book, based on documents from the collections of the Russian State Administration of the Navy, tells about the history of the design, construction and service of the last pre-dreadnought battleships “John Chrysostom” and “Eustathius”. It was on these ships that the brunt of the 1914–1915 campaigns fell. in the Black Sea to suppress the operations of the German-Turkish cruiser Goeben, which they withstood with honor.
