Edoardo Erba was born in Pavia, studied at school at the Teatro Piccolo in Milan and lives in Rome. Over twenty years of theatrical activity, he wrote 18 plays, a novel and many short stories. New York City Marathon (1992) is his most successful work. This play has been translated into 8 languages and performed all over the world, from Wellington and Bombay to Paris and Boston.
