For the first time, a fascinating historical study of the American P. L. Wilson, known in anarchist circles as Hakim Bey, has been translated into Russian. The main theme of this romantic journey through time is the pirate anarchic Republic of Sale (Bou Regreg), founded in the 17th century on the Atlantic coast of Barbaria (now Morocco) by Europeans who converted to Islam. The author wrote a special preface to the Russian edition. The book contains 33 illustrations of the 16th–18th centuries and a plan of the Republic, as well as notes and bibliography on the topic. The publishing layout of the book is preserved in PDF A4 format.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
