"Living Water" is an experimental novel-reflection on the nature of life and time by the most important Brazilian writer of the twentieth century, Clarice Lispector, written in the form of an improvisational poetic monologue, in which the pictorial, musical and tactile properties of the text come to the fore. The unconventional nature of the language, philosophical depth, sensuality and desire for universality do not allow Lispector’s prose to be given unambiguous genre definitions, captivating the reader with a magical, demiurgic whirlwind into the world of synesthesia, naked existence on the border between animal, plant and human.
