Our century is so densely woven of all kinds of illusions that among its advertising billboards it is no wonder not only to get lost, but also to become unhappy. This is exactly what happened to the hero of this book, television journalist Gleb Khromov. He is 33 years old and doesn’t want to live anymore, but fate offers the guy a chance to “fix everything.” Producer Grigory Petrovich Chelikov sends our TV journalist to Italy to film a reality show about surviving without money, the hero of which, unexpectedly, turns out to be Gleb himself. Now, in order to return home, he, with absolutely empty pockets, without knowledge of foreign languages, alone, will have to travel all over Italy at the appointed time, earning his living right on the road. The story is based on real events, the names of the characters are fictitious.
