In the 1930s, the poems of Igor Chinnov were first published in the Parisian magazine "Numbers". And then, according to Irina Odoevtseva, twenty-year-old Chinnov began “his brilliant ascent to fame” so that a quarter of a century later he would inherit the “chair of the first emigration poet” that belonged to Georgy Ivanov. Igor Chinnov wrote his last poems in the 1990s in Russia, which he saw for the first time after the revolution... Over sixty years in Europe and the USA, Igor Chinnov published eight books of poetry: “Monologue”, “Lines”, “Metaphors” , "Score", "Composition", "Pastorals", "Antithesis", "Autograph". All of them are included in this volume.
